Men’s March Against Violence

The Men’s March Against Violence is an annual event – an opportunity – to engage men as allies in standing together against domestic violence. The Men’s March is celebrating its 29th March this year. Community participation in efforts to raise awareness and address harm to survivors and island families is a large undertaking. With your participation this year’s March will be a memorable event.

With support from Kaiser Permanente Hawaii and Central Pacific Bank Foundation, the collaboration of community organizations, and the participation of Friends of ‘Iolani Palace, it is expected we will enjoy the company of allies, supporters, businesses, schools and community-based organizations. Domestic violence is a complex and costly community problem, causing harm that lasts a lifetime. In pre-pandemic years, we had more than 1100 participants, and that makes a statement. Domestic violence is no longer seen as a private matter. We have more work to do, but with your assistance and participation we make strides towards peace in island families.
